Morris K, 1916-2011

I just got word that my father's cousin Morrie passed away yesterday. He was 95 years old.

He was the son of my grandfather's brother, and unfortunately I never got to meet him. A couple of years ago Morris's son, whom I happened to "meet" online when I stumbled across his website, took a video of his dad with his computer and sent it to me. Morrie had tears in his eyes as he reminisced in the video about my grandfather (his uncle) visiting him in Canada and going swimming with him; Morrie remembers trying to impress his Uncle Barney with his diving.

Morrie was a proud veteran who served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II.

Eternal memory, Morrie. May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
